Radiator Fan 5 fan 46cm Duo start set comes with a smart controller. This is suitable for radiators from 100cm to 140cm long.

This smart controller has 5 adjustable speeds. At the highest setting the sound is still barely audible. Thanks to the innovative corner design of the Heatfan, the radiator fans even fit under radiators that are 3.5 cm wide.

A radiator heats up slowly and cools down gradually. This is quite a slow process and the radiator fan controller & sensor ensures that the fans are always blowing at the perfect level. Both are super accurate modulating sensors that are placed between the power supply and radiator fan. You always place one smart controller per power supply. The sensors are calibrated and will turn on at 25,3°C. They will then let the radiator fans blow modulatingly faster as the temperature of the radiator/convector rises. When the temperature of the radiator/convector cools down, the radiator fans will blow softer until the temperature of 24,9°C is reached. Then the radiator fans turn off automatically.

The smart controller is ideally suited when using low temperatures. So also suitable for hybrid heat pumps and district heating

It is advisable to remove the plug in the summer if it is not used for a long time. And when using it after a summer, clean it.

Radiator fans have magnets that easily adapt to the relevant radiator.

You can mount the radiator both at the top and at the bottom. It is recommended to mount it at the bottom. (make sure to clean your radiators well)

Not suitable for electric radiators. These quickly become 100 degrees hot and the radiator fan breaks.

Noise: The radiator fan is super quiet, below 20 dB. Just to give you an idea of ​​how much this is. A ticking clock makes 30 dB of noise. The fall of a tree leaf is 10 dB. The radiator fan will therefore make noise somewhere in between. And will therefore not be experienced as disturbing in any situation.

Energy consumption is extremely low: Due to a built-in heat sensor, a radiator fan automatically switches on at a temperature of 25,3°C and off again at a temperature of 24,9°C. A radiator fan therefore only runs when the radiator is warm. The consumption is approximately 1 kWh per year, which amounts to approximately € 0,25 per Heatfan per year. That is negligible compared to the yields.
